Permanent and full time from September 2024, flexible working, part-time 0.8 minimum may be considered.

Salary: MPS or UPS plus a one-off recruitment allowance of £2,000 for a suitable candidate

Are you passionate about Modern Foreign Languages and inspiring young people to feel the same?  If so, why not join our high performing, dedicated, and supportive MFL Department?  The governors of Pershore High School wish to appoint an engaging and enthusiastic teacher of French and Spanish for September 2024. The MFL department comprises individual classrooms and a staff workroom, and all staff are provided with a laptop.  The successful candidate will join the school at a very exciting time in its development as we expand our pupil numbers.

We currently have 1148 students on roll in Years 7-13 of which 188 are on the SEND Register, 32 of whom have EHCPs.  This includes 14 students who are part of our Mainstream Autism Base (MAB).  In addition, 16% of students are in receipt of the Pupil Premium Grant.  The school was rated Good by Ofsted at their last visit in November 2022 and we have outstanding pastoral provision.  Our highly successful school is steadily growing, and student numbers are set to rise further in the next few years.  Pershore High School is a great place to work, our students are friendly and behave well; visitors frequently comment on the calm and purposeful atmosphere that pervades our school.
