Humanities are academic disciplines that study aspects of human society and culture. The Humanities Faculty at Pershore High School sees the History, Geography, Politics (KS5) and Religious Studies departments work collaboratively to help our students have a better understanding of the world around them. Together our subjects explore human behaviour within the complexity of ideas, systems and processes that shape the world we live in. All subjects within the faculty aim to foster an approach that develops students’ curiosity about the past, present and future of the world and their role as global citizens.

Based in a dedicated teaching suite, the faculty offers a diverse range of activities, both inside and outside the classroom across Key Stage Three, Four and Five. More information can be found on the department pages for each subject.
