Timetable, Lessons and Progress Checks
At Pershore we largely follow the revised National Curriculum and in doing so promote the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of our students.
Our Timetable:
The timetable is composed of 25 one hour lessons per week organised into a two week timetable. There are five lessons per day with four in the morning and one in the afternoon. Each day starts with a 10 minute registration period and after lunch there is a 20 minute session for tutor activities and assemblies.
Key Stage 3 = Years 7, 8 and 9
Key Stage 4 = Years 10 and 11
Key Stage 5 = Years 12 and 13 (Sixth Form)
Key Stage 3 Curriculum:
At Key Stage 3 (Years 7, 8 & 9) the curriculum is arranged according to the list below (period numbers are for a 50 hour two week timetable):

*Students will study either Spanish or French in Year 7 as an introduction to languages. In year 8, as new students join us, they will begin the other language (dependent on which half of the year group they are in) and continue with this language throughout Key Stage 3. This allows students in year 8 to start at the same point and gives year 7s an introduction to another language to further enrich their experience.
