Part of the Avonreach Academy Trust

Senior Student Team

A very warm welcome from our Senior Team

The Senior Team is comprised of James Moir and Julia Meadows, supported by Bethan Griffiths and Niko Skinner. The student leadership team meets regularly to discuss sixth form events, improvements and to represent the student voice to ensure that the sixth form remains a positive, welcoming environment where all students can thrive.

James Moir (Head Student)

Hi, I’m James, and in the future, I would like to work in cybersecurity and digital forensics, either with the police or an organisation like GCHQ. I am currently studying Psychology, Geography and Drama.

I am very excited to be part of the Head Team this year. I am very grateful to be in this position, and I want to be involved in creating the best Sixth Form experience for everyone.

I love taking part in drama productions, I occasionally ski and my favourite animals are penguins. I also have a part time Front of House job at a local pub.

Julia Meadows  (Head Student)

Hello, I’m Julia, and I’m thrilled to represent Pershore Sixth Form as a Head Student. I’m not too sure what I want to do in the future, but I plan to study Management with Marketing at University. I am currently studying Economics, Psychology and Art.

One of the most important ideals to me is getting involved. I’m an editor for the school newspaper, The Pershore Post, and always take part in the school’s annual drama production. I also go to lots of conventions, and love playing tabletop games like D&D in my free time. Additionally, I have a part-time job at a local café, so have an optimistic outlook- and lots of experience with teamwork!

Thank you for this opportunity! I can’t wait to bring as much positivity and as many new ideas as possible during this academic year. I hope we’re able to represent you the best we can!

Bethan Griffiths (Deputy Head Student)

Hi, I’m Bethan, I am currently studying Geography, Art, and Maths. In the future I would like to go on to university to either study something artistic, geographical, or a mixture of both. I love the expressiveness of Art and the way that Geography incorporates all factors when considering global issues. My main hobbies include reading, golfing, and listening to a lot of music.

Being part of the head team will allow me to encourage positive and productive communication around school between all the students and those in control of change. I am excited for the opportunity to improve PHS and make it a more enjoyable experience for all the students.

Niko Skinner (Deputy Head Student)

Hi, my name is Niko and I’m your Deputy Head student for this year. In the future I’d like to be a counselling therapist, but I have a variety of other ideas, such as being an airline pilot, working in the triple A games industry, or being a marine biologist. I am currently studying Biology, Psychology and Geography.

I’m very happy to be in this position and glad of the opportunity.
