• Exam Season

  Well done to all GCSE and A Level students in their exams. Student shave been conducting themselves perfectly and we are very proud. It'll will be all over in just over 2 weeks so keep going!

   

  Our year 8 students have been undertaking their end of year exams and year 7 have theirs next week. Well done and good luck for the rest of the season.

   

  If you are feeling anxious or nervous, or overwhelmed, please do speak to your teachers and other members of staff who will do their best to help and offer support. It's stressful but you can do it!

  

• GCSE and A-Level Revision and Exams

  The best of luck to all students who are undertaking their exams in the next couple of weeks. If you still have queries about certain topics, please do contact your teachers who will be happy to help.

   

  GCSE Science Flash revision sessions will be taking place this week and next, which students will already know about but do contact your teacher if you are sill unsure.

  Best of luck in these final few weeks before you embark on your next adventures. 

  

• Prospective Students - September 2025

  Prospective students will now have received welcome letters and further information around the induction process. There is a link to an Admissions form to be completed before the 15th June. If you have any questions, the welcome evenings are the perfect time to speak to staff and get your answers.

   

  If parents have not received an email, please contact school.

  We are now in the process of allocating school houses and gathering student information in readiness for September and will inform parents when the decision has been made.

  

• Summer Term After School Sports Clubs

  The summer term is in full swing and students can now attend After School Sports clubs including Cricket, Football, Rounders and Athletics. Swing for the fences, kick it in the top corner and leap your way to success!

  

• Easter Ski Trip 2025

  All you need is gloves!

  Students and staff got their cold weather gear on for the annual Easter ski trip. Students skied and made friends, ice skating and playing games while in Obertauern, Austria.

  Looks like everyone had a great time.

  

• Sixth Form Experience - Trip to Paris

  Students spent a couple of nights in Paris, including taking in the Arc de Triomphe, a sparkling Effiel Tower at sunset, a sightseeing river cruise on the River Seine, taking in Parisien café culture on the Champs-de-Elysees and basking in the sun of Jardin des Tuileries.

  Students also an evening of culture in Le Louvre, seeing the Mona Lisa, other works of art and the foundations of the original fort that the museum is built upon before waking up early Saturday to view the Sacre-Coeur Basilica (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) before heading back to Gare du Nord to travel back home via EuroStar.

   

  This is certainly a trip these students will never forget and a lovely break before they begin their A Level exams in a couple of weeks time.

  

• Duke of Edinburgh - Practice Walks

  On Thursday 10th and Friday 11th April, those taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme will be undertaking their practice walks. Make sure you have your good, comfortable, walking boots for a full day of walking and your food ready for cooking your evening meal. A full list of equipment has been emailed to parents.

  

• We Will Rock You - Rockin' the room!

  Last week, the school production of We Will Rock, featuring music by Queen, took place with great success. The rock star cast showed us who was Killer Queen and didn't feel Under Pressure giving an amazing performance and felt that These Are The Days of their lives when they sang and danced their way Headlong into the show.
