  • An invitation to the German Ambassador’s residence

    Fri 27 Jun 2025

On Tuesday 24th June, our wonderful Subject Lead of German, Frau Ward, enjoyed a day celebrating the German language at the Sommerfest der deutschen Sprache (the Summer Festival of the German language). This was a fancy event held at the German Ambassador’s residence in London. The main event of the day was the Network Champion for German Award, which was presented to six people who have worked tirelessly to promote the language in the UK.

A few German teachers and educators were invited to join in the event, network and enjoy some Kartoffelsalat und Wurst in beautiful settings!

Here’s a little insight into the event: https://fb.watch/AtaHQ87ysh/

This is certainly a trip these students will never forget and a lovely break before they begin their A Level exams in a couple of weeks time.
