Beating Cancer, one step at a time
Fri 18 Jul 2025This summer, our lovely French Teacher, Miss Bowden, will be undertaking a cycle ride from London to Paris to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Miss Bowden has had a demanding year, undertaking cancer treatment, and is now on the road to recovery and challenging herself with this epic ride.

Duke of Edinburgh Challenges - Bronze and Gold
Thu 17 Jul 2025Congratulations to our Year 13 Gold D of E Challenge students for completing their 4 days of walking and camping. The weather was changeable and challenge but you all did amazing.
Also a huge well done to the Year 10 students who took part in their Bronze D of E this last week. Despite the heat, you all did wonderfully.

Private Exhibition of GCSE and A Level Art work

An invitation to the German Ambassador’s residence
Fri 27 Jun 2025On Tuesday 24th June, our wonderful Subject Lead of German, Frau Ward, enjoyed a day celebrating the German language at the Sommerfest der deutschen Sprache (the Summer Festival of the German language). This was a fancy event held at the German Ambassador’s residence in London. The main event of the day was the Network Champion for German Award, which was presented to six people who have worked tirelessly to promote the language in the UK.
A few German teachers and educators were invited to join in the event, network and enjoy some Kartoffelsalat und Wurst in beautiful settings!

Year 9 Rounders - Final matches
Thu 26 Jun 2025Well done to the year 9's who took on Chase in tehri final rounders match of the season! Both games were close with one team losing 24-22 (against a strong Chase year 10 team) and the other winning 25-22. What a way to end the season!

After School Sports Clubs and Activities - enjoying the sport and the outdoors
Mon 02 Jun 2025Students have been enjoying competing against other schools in various sports activities including rounders, football and netball. We are so proud of these students; their behaviour has been wonderful and the time and effort these students put into these activities is commendable.
Swing for the fences, kick it in the top corner and leap your way to success!

Easter Ski Trip 2025
Mon 05 May 2025All you need is gloves!
Students and staff got their cold weather gear on for the annual Easter ski trip. Students skied and made friends, ice skating and playing games while in Obertauern, Austria.
Looks like everyone had a great time.

Sixth Form Experience - Trip to Paris
Wed 30 Apr 2025Students spent a couple of nights in Paris, including taking in the Arc de Triomphe, a sparkling Effiel Tower at sunset, a sightseeing river cruise on the River Seine, taking in Parisien café culture on the Champs-de-Elysees and basking in the sun of Jardin des Tuileries.
Students also an evening of culture in Le Louvre, seeing the Mona Lisa, other works of art and the foundations of the original fort that the museum is built upon before waking up early Saturday to view the Sacre-Coeur Basilica (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) before heading back to Gare du Nord to travel back home via EuroStar.
This is certainly a trip these students will never forget and a lovely break before they begin their A Level exams in a couple of weeks time.

We Will Rock You - Rockin' the room!
Mon 10 Mar 2025Last week, the school production of We Will Rock, featuring music by Queen, took place with great success. The rock star cast showed us who was Killer Queen and didn't feel Under Pressure giving an amazing performance and felt that These Are The Days of their lives when they sang and danced their way Headlong into the show.
Well done and congratulations all!
