The Academy Standards Committee of local governors meets five times per year following the 'Circle Model' of governance.  The Academy Standards Committee (ASC) is a committee of the Trust Board.  The ASC's core functions are outlined below and this includes oversight and responsibility for safeguarding. Local governors provide the eyes and ears of the board and hold the headteacher to account for the school's standards.
