Pershore High School Library
Our library opened in the English block in September 2023.
There are currently 4904 books in stock, with more being added!
There are several sections. Fiction, graphic/manga, quick reads and dyslexia friendly books are all in alphabetical order by the author’s surname. Non-fiction, or fact books, are organised by the Dewey Decimal system. This system groups together books of the same topic and gives them a number. For example, books on how the human body works are in 612.
You can help look after our books by keeping them away from leaking bottles, food tech creations, dogs and ponds!
As well as access to books and computers during break and lunch times, there are many activities and events in the library such as online author talks, quizzes and draw-a-longs.
Pupils can access Oliver, the library management system, from home and school. Oliver can be used to search for books, place reservations and submit reviews. There is also some useful information on the home screen linking to free resources, competitions and activities.

Break time: 11:00-11:15
Lunch time: 13:20-13:55
Silent lunchtimes on Tuesday and Wednesday. Quiet lunchtime on Thursday.
